CICS automates the process of creating pre-completed claim forms for all types of insurance. The software accepts user input from both local and remote locations, validates the data, scans the resulting files, and prints claim forms and instruction letters. CICS does not calculate interest, depreciation, or claim amounts, but instead is intended to be used as a local status database and form generation tool. An interface with mainframe-based systems allows CICS to synchronize itself to the computer records of the credit union for increased automation.
